The Young Elites (film announcement) and The Rose Society

I know we're all on a major Star Wars high today - wait, did you miss the new trailer? Go do that. It was pretty boss seeing Han and Chewie on screen again, but dare I say I'm even more excited for the possibility of a film adaptation for Marie Lu's "The Young Elites"? I know that's not a light statement and it might have something to do with how nervous I am about this new Star Wars movie matching my love for the original trilogy, but I'm also wildly in love with the characters in "The Young Elite" and would love to see them raising hell on screen. I'm a gigantic Assassins Creed fan (I still remember reading early reviews in Game Informer hoping it got a thumbs up) and always wished for a book or movie version of the game. The closest thing we've gotten is Marie Lu's book with the added bonus of a descent into villainry and dark supernatural forces. I'm also a big fan of Lu's Legend trilogy and I saw on Twitter that all hope isn't lost on seeing that hit theaters either. UNTIL THEN, I'm trying to fast forward time to fall (and not because of the release of "Dreamland", though that too) but because I desperately want the sequel, "The Rose Society." Maybe there will be copies at BEA, but I'm pre-ordering today. Let me know on Twitter if you're reading these books too so we can fanboy/girl out together!
